Extreme heat in Rajasthan; Temperature reached 44 degrees

Jaipur: The last few days have been hot in parts of Rajasthan. Mercury has crossed 44 degrees in Barmer district.  Due to the heat, the entire life in the desert areas has been disrupted. In the afternoon, the streets look very deserted. At the same time, everyone seems to be saving to escape this heat.

The heat in Rajasthan has started spewing fire these days. In the border Barmer district, the temperature has crossed 44 degrees in recent days. Usually, this type of heat was seen here in the month of May-June, but this time, two months ago, the heat has started to wreak havoc. To avoid the heat, people come out of their homes only in the morning or evening. In such a situation, along with the busiest routes of the city and markets, the highway routes are also looking deserted due to the scorching heat.

In the afternoon, people who leave from essential work are going out by consuming lemon water and cold drinks. People are also seen covering clothes on their mouths to avoid the heat. People say that this time the summer has come ahead of time. This has disrupted the lives of the people. The heat is so severe that even getting out of the house in the afternoon has become difficult. People are trying to escape the heat in their homes with the help of ACs, coolers, and fans. Apart from this, thandai, coconut water, sugarcane and cold beverages are also providing relief to the common people in summer.
