Ajit wants to become CM, new trouble ready for Eknath Shinde

Mumbai: Ajit Pawar seems to be creating trouble for CM Eknath Shinde. Ajit Pawar, who rebelled against the NCP and joined the NDA camp, said in the meeting that he wants to become the CM of Maharashtra and implement schemes for the benefit of the people. Along with this many claims were also made, Because of which Shinde is in trouble. It is worth mentioning that since Ajit Pawar’s rebellion in NCP and then joining NDA with supporting MLAs, there were reports of disturbance in Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena. It was being told that Shiv Sena MLAs had objected even at the time of division of portfolios. However, later this issue was resolved. On Wednesday, Ajit Pawar called a meeting of supporters at MET College in Bandra and proved that he has the support of more MLAs than Sharad Pawar. 32 MLAs attended the meeting of his camp while Sharad Pawar got the support of only 18. In this meeting, Ajit Pawar made such claims which are going to give tension to CM Shinde as well.

In the meeting, Ajit Pawar said that am I not a big leader of the state? I have been the Deputy Chief Minister five times. But the matter does not end there. He said that by becoming the Chief Minister of the state, I want to implement schemes for the benefit of the people. Ajit Pawar said that after the assembly elections in 2004, due to his mistake, the chief minister’s post went to the Congress. At that time NCP had 71 seats while Congress had 69. Had the mistake not been made at that time, till 2023 NCP would have been the chief minister. Ajit told that NCP had talked to BJP in 2014, 2017 and 2019 as well. Then when they have joined hands with the BJP then why are they being blamed for this. He said that in 2014 there was a meeting with Devendra Fadnavis at Silver Oak.

Ajit said that at that time we were also asked to attend the swearing-in. In 2017, a meeting was called at the Chief Minister’s residence in which NCP leaders attended. Had a conversation with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. He said that BJP was ready to form government with NCP and Shiv Sena but then NCP did not want to go with Shiv Sena. Then it was said that Shiv Sena is communal but in 2019 it joined hands with the same. He said that when Shinde went with BJP in 2022, 53 MLAs had said that NCP should also go with BJP. I have a copy of that letter as well.
