രാഷ്ട്രീയക്കാരനോട്
കസേര ചോദിച്ചു
“ഇരിക്കുവാൻ തിടുക്കമോ?
എൻ്റെ കാലു നാലും
ആടിയിരിക്കയാണ്
മന്ത്രി ചൊല്ലി ” സാരമില്ല
എനിക്കാടുന്ന കസേരയാണിഷ്ടം
കാലു വാരുവാൻ
എളുപ്പവുമാണല്ലോ
ഇണങ്ങിയും പിണങ്ങിയും
വളർന്നും പിളർന്നും
പല കളി കണ്ട കസേര വീണ്ടും
പൊട്ടിച്ചിരിച്ചു.
വോട്ടു ചെയ്ത ജനമോ വെറും
കഴുതകളാകുമ്പോൾ
മറ്റൊരു വെള്ളക്കഴുകൻ
കൂർത്ത നഖങ്ങളുമായി
വാനത്തേരിൽ താഴ്ന്നിറങ്ങി
ജനമോ വീണ്ടും മരക്കഴുതകൾ
Very relevant poem in the current political scenario in Kerala!! Very meaningful and realistic…the white eagle landing from the sky is none other than KC Venugopal.. And you’re right… the Congress party is very good at making people fools.. getting the mandate projecting the great visionary VD Satheesan for 5 years and then landing the power-greedy KC from above all of a sudden shocking and fooling more than 2 million people in Kerala.. this trend definitely need to stop. People of Kerala need to prove that high command is nothing without the support of the people.. Great poem, Moncy!! Keep up your great work!!
